If you are one such fan looking for information on how to rotate buildings in Cities Skylines, you have come to the right spot as we will walk you through how to execute the action on PC, PS4, Xbox & Mac.
Cities Skylines is a building game developed and published by Colossal Order and Paradox Interactive respectively. The game isn’t centered on building alone as there are other segments bordering on city planning. Let’s now discuss the topic of the day.
Cities Skylines: How to Rotate Buildings (PC, PS4, Xbox & Mac)
The game is available for various consoles and PC, meaning the controls for functions in the game will vary across controller buttons and PC keys. However, some buildings are fixed and cannot be rotated, so keep this mind. Here are ways you can rotate buildings in the game for different platforms, starting with PC
For PC
Carrying out this action for PC users is quite simple. All you have to do is move your cursor to the building to highlight it, then right-click and hold with your mouse to move it left or right. Remember the front yards are designed to always face the road.
For PS4
For buildings that do not fall under the Roadside Criteria boundary in the game, use the D-Pad. You can’t do much if the buildings are bound to be by the roadside, except move them along the roadside.
For Xbox
The process is similar to that of PS4. All you have to do is use the D-Pad to drag them around, but keep in mind all buildings will face the road you zoned them to, including service buildings.
For Mac
Similar to that of a PC run by Windows, click on the building you want to rotate, then right-click to rotate it by 45 degrees each turn till it gets to your preferred position.
