Phoenix Lab’s Fae Farm saw its official release on September 8, 2023, and is now available on PC and Nintendo Switch. Fae Farm Sardine Location: Where to get & find
The sardines in Fae Farm can be regularly found near the sea. There’s no one defined spawn location, but the general consensus is that any place near the sea will do. Locations such as East Town, Stay-A-While Bay, The Docks, and the Beach are perfect for catching sardines.
When it comes to the best time to catch these fish, night is the usual answer. While you can certainly find them during the afternoon hours, the night is when they are most active. And don’t worry about them being seasonal fish like some of those in Stardew Valley. Sardines are available year-round, and as such, you can catch them at any time of the year.
How to get them?
Sardines have a narrow body and sparkle in the water. Furthermore, they swim in a circle-like manner. Thanks to all that, it’s fairly easy to spot them. But spotting is one thing and catching another. They are a rare type of fish, so you will need to give in more if you plan to catch one of them. When you are at one of the previously recommended places, get your player character as close to the water as possible. The moment you spot a sardine, bring out your fishing rod and attach the bait to it. Cast the fishing rod and wait for a sardine to take the bait. When that happens, pull the rod while spinning the fishing wheel. Like Stardew Valley, the fish-catching process is facilitated by a minigame. In this case, stop pulling the fish out of the water whenever you see the red icon. Keep doing this, and you will get your first sardine as soon as it comes close to the shore.
