“Barn finds” is a term referred to restoration of old antique automobiles. Forza Horizon 5 consists of finding 14 barns scattered around the map. These barns must be located, and each one has an antique, legendary car that may be restored. Unlike other games, you can’t just drive up to a Barn Find and take the prizes, even if you know where they are.
There are Four Barns in co-relation to the expedition objectives while the others are triggered at random. Information regarding these Barn finds come from “Barn Rumors”. These rumors are usually provided by Alex over call or the DJ through Radio. Some are located in plain sight while others are hidden in tricky to find locations. Depending on your course, the order of barn findings may alter, but the vehicles are restored in the same order. Furthermore, you will not be able to find a barn until the region has been highlighted on your map. A drive up to an unmarked barn will not result in a discovery.
The car will be stored in your collection after you’ve picked it up, but it will be unusable until it’s fixed. The length of time it takes to restore a car is proportional to the cost of the repairs, with the cost of repairs reducing with time. The GMC Jimmy, for example, can be restored in less than an hour for less than 100,000 CR, whereas the Ferrari 250 GTO will take several hours and cost more than 30 million CR.
To explore, it is rather convenient to use Drone Mode under the ‘Creative Hub’ tab of the pause menu than driving around in a car. The ariel view allows for a more wider view, making it easier to find the barn in the rumored area.
