Before we begin, keep in mind that these are issues related to software. So, if a method doesn’t work for you, follow the next one.

Update Windows 11 –

First, we start with the basics. Go to Settings > Windows Update. Click on the Check for updates button. If you happen to have an update available, the download will automatically start. You should do this because the problem mainly surfaced in devices with this version. By updating your Windows, the issue might be fixed.

Allow Nvidia Telemetry Service access –

A major reason why you might be facing the 0x0003 error on Windows 11 can be due to the telemetry services not having proper access to the desktop. To fix that, enter services.msc in the Run box. Look for Nvidia Telemetry Services, press right-click and choose Properties. Head over to the LogOn tab and select Local System Account. You will notice the “Allow service to interact with the desktop” option which you should enable. Press ok and apply. Restart the app to see if the issue remains.

Update the app –

The error could also be related to an outdated Nvidia GeForce Experience app. Check if you have the latest version of the app installed or not. If not, then head over to Nvidia’s website and download the latest version. If that doesn’t work, then uninstall the application first, then reinstall the latest one.

Update your Graphics Driver too –

If the previous method doesn’t work, it’s time for you to update the graphics drivers. How do you do that? It’s easy actually. Go to the official website of Nvidia, look for the latest graphics driver, and download it. The same can be done through the GeForce app too. Do remember to download the ones specific to your GPU.

Run the app in administrator mode –

In case the above methods don’t work, resort to this one. Right-click on the app shortcut and select the “Run as an administrator” option. This one is a short way. For the long one, right-click> Properties > Compatibility. Next, choose “Run this program as an administrator”, click ok and apply. Restart the PC and then open the app.
