Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is a role-playing action game developed and published by Monolith Soft and Nintendo respectively. From the title of the game, it is obvious it is not the first title but rather the fourth(not third) in the Xenoblade Chronicles franchise. The game allows up to seven party members to get engaged in battle all at once, which makes it even more important that players know how to cancel attacks, as it would certainly give them an edge over players who don’t know how to take advantage of the mechanism. So, what does attack canceling mean in the game, and how can it be done? Let’s find out right away.

How to Cancel Attacks In Xenoblade Chronicles 3

To start with, a cancel attack does not mean what it sounds like as it has nothing to do with forgoing an attack move or plan you set up. This is simply a way of piling up attack moves in such a way that each move is followed up by another attacking move immediately after the previous attack move is executed. This shortens the animation display and makes it look like all the attack moves are carried out in a split second, essentially stacking attacks on your enemy. So, how do you go about it? The first thing we suggest you do is to enable the Empowered Combo gem and equip your character with the Pale Memory accessory. The former increases damage by 25%(level 1) while the latter allows you to increase your chances of making a stack attack or cancel attack by 20%. Properly executing the stack attack can trigger the chain attack which allows you to deal even more damage. The only attack forms that can be canceled are auto attacks, from which you progress to arts and then talent arts. You can also move directly from auto attack to talent arts.

So, with the right timing, you can stack up attack flows on your enemy and enjoy the benefits that come with the move. Kindly share this article with friends, and stay in touch with Vabsaga for more gaming updates. Have fun and explore your newfound battle skill.
