How to change your license plate name in Forza Horizon 5?

Forza Horizon 5 is a game that left a bright impression on the fans in terms of visual appeal, cars, plenty of content, and in-depth customization from body kits to license plates. In any racing game, customizing their rides to look unique is something every player does and makes it stand out from the rest of the crowd. In the latest installment of the Forza series, along with cars, the game also allows you to change license plates and can be modified in the game from the start when you arrive at the Mexico Festival site in the very beginning. Changing license plates can also be done at your home or the Horizon festival site. You can customize it to your nickname or catchy phrase or keep it simple on your custom license plate. Here’s how you can customize the license plate name in Forza Horizon 5.

How to change the license plate in FH5

Normally the base game doesn’t let you change the plates at the start until you visit the Horizon Festival Mexico location the first time you come across in the early stages of the game. To change the number plate in Forza Horizon 5, follow the necessary steps to do so.

• Head to “Settings” and press the Options button
• Go to “Garage” you’ll see it on your minimap
• Go to “Cars and head to Car Collection
• Choose any of the cars you want to change, After that there’ll be a prompt screen saying “do you want to go to the auto shop”
• Click on Yes and you’ll see a list of your cars available in the game.
• Go back to the screen and you’ll see a garage menu. You can see the license plate option on the lower right side.
•  Click on the license plate option and change it using the up and down arrow buttons on the keyboard.
• Once you’re done changing the license plate, tap on Accept.
• If you don’t like the license plate, go to the license plate option and reset the license plate by pressing the Y button on the Xbox controller.

Once you’ve followed all the abovementioned steps, go back into the game and you can see the license plate has changed to the name of your choice in the game.
