1) When you are facing the Unexpected Login Error in League of Legends, the first thing you should do is close the Riot Client. You can do so by pressing Alt+F4 on your keyboard.

2) After the Riot Client is closed, you will now have to close all the Riot Client services running in the background. For this, open your Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Esc. After this, go to the Processes tab and make sure to end all the RiotClientServices.exe instances.

3) Once this is done, find the KillerServiceNetwork.exe process and close it as well. This might be the reason why you are facing the error in LoL since this service may be lowering the bandwidth of the game.

4) If you have followed all the steps correctly, then it is time to launch the Riot Client again. After this, log into League of Legends and the error should be gone.
