How to fix Realm Royale not launching on Windows 11 issue?
1) Verify the integrity of game files
Crashing issues are often caused by corrupted game files, which is why you should run an Integrity check via Steam. To do so, head to Steam>Library>Realm Royale. Right-click on the game and then select the Properties option. Now, under the Local Files tab, select the Verify Integrity of Game Files option. After the scan completes, launch the game and check if the error persists.
2) Launch CMD
This is a workaround suggested by a user on the Steam Community and has worked for many. So, for this, launch Command Prompt and enter the following code- “setx OPENSSL_ia32cap ~0x20000000”. This code makes your PC bypass the OpenSSL protocol error thereby fixing the launch issue. After running the code, make sure to restart your PC.
3) Update Windows 11
If you are on an outdated version of Windows 11, then there are chances of encountering crashing issues in games. So, either update your OS to the latest version or roll back to Windows 10, if updating doesn’t work.
4) Disable Nvidia Geforce in-game overlay
For this, head to the Nvidia Geforce Experience and then select Settings. Now, find the In-game Overlay option and make sure to disable it. After this, restart your PC and launch the game.
5) Update GPU Drivers
Make sure to update your GPU drivers to the latest version to avoid running into launch issues.
6) Reinstall the game
If none of the methods worked for you, then reinstalling the game is the only option left for you to try. We believe that getting a fresh copy of the game should fix the launch error.
