Should you encounter an audio and stuttering issue while trying to play the game, following these steps will surely fix that.

Step 1) Select the right audio device in Sound Settings

1) Go to the Start menu and click Settings, then select ‘System’.

2) Open the ‘Sound’ tab and then choose the correct output device and then launch the game.

Step 2) Set the Sound Sample rate to 48/44k Hz in the sound control panel

1) Search Control Panel on the Windows Search Box and select it.

2) Click open ‘Hardware and Sound’, then click on ‘Sound’.

3) Scroll down and select Speaker or Audio Device, then click ‘Properties’.

4) Go to the Advance Tab and reduce hertz to 48/44k, then apply settings. You can keep reducing till you find the best results.

Step 3) Disconnect and Connect the controller

Disconnect the controller when starting the game. You can then connect the controller once the sound is established.

Step 4) Turn off Spatial Sound

1) For windows 10 users, navigate to the speaker icon in the taskbar and right-click on it.

2) Select Spatial sound, and turn it off.

3) Now, launch the game.

Step 5) Disable Oculus/Voice meter Audio Device

1) Search the Control Panel on the Windows Search box and click it open.

2) Click open ‘Hardware and Sound’, then click ‘Sound’.

3) Right-click on the voice meter and disable it.

4) Go to Device manager and click open.

5) Open Sound video and Game Controller.

6) Scroll to Oculus and disable it.

Step 6) Uncheck Handsfree Telephony

1) Search Control Panel on the windows search box and click it open.

2) Click open ‘Hardware and Sound’, then click ‘Devices and Printers’.

3) Then right click on your speaker and open ‘Properties’.

4) Go to the services tab and uncheck the ‘handsfree’ box. Apply the settings and then launch the game.

Step 7) Disconnect the external Microphone

For external microphones, simply disconnect them from the computer. For internal microphone:

1) Search the Control Panel on the windows search box and click it open.

2) Click open ‘Hardware and Sound’, then click ‘Sound’.

3) Open the Recording tab and right-click on the microphone.

4) Disable the internal microphone and launch the game.

Step 8) Verify the game files

1) Go to Steam Library and right-click on the game.

2) Select Properties and go to Manage. Here, select the Local files option.

3) Click on ‘Verify Integrity of game files’.

4) Launch the game after it is complete.
