Hazelight Studio’s founder and renowned game director, Josef Fares tasted his first success in 2013 when he released Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. Since then, he has released two games under Hazelight Studios – A Way Out and It Takes Two, respectively in 2018 and 2021. All of his games have been known to feature a heavy emphasis on co-op compared to other indie devs who mainly just focus on a single-player experience. It was the release of It Takes Two in 2021 that further cemented Josef and his teams expertise in the co-op genre. Available on all platforms including the Nintendo Switch, It Takes Two was both a commercial and critical success for the studio. It Takes Two Steam Family Share: Is It Available
Unfortunately, Hazelight Studio’s It Takes Two doesn’t work on Steam Family Share. The game is published by Electronic Arts and so requires an Origin/EA account. Steam has mentioned in its FAQ section that you can’t have access to games that require third-party accounts due to certain limitations. This is the reason why the game is not available to play via Steam Family Share.
