I know Mario games have included the beach before, but those times –Mario Sunshine in particular – they were about work, or quests, and quests are work. This series of illustrations by Léo Chérela instead imagines what it would be like if all the brothers (and friends) were able to take a proper, deserved vacation.
You know what it looks like in the Japanese games Persona the crew always manages to slip on an adventurous vacation, everyone puts on a swimsuit, heads to the beach and enjoys some fun? Yeah, imagine that only when Bowser looks very nervous about the salt water.
