Pokemon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl (BDSP) : How to get Adamant Orb?

Capturing and using Legendary Pokémon has always been one of the most exciting aspects of the Pokémon games. These legendary Pokémon are very rare and often very powerful. These Pokémon are usually encountered and interactable once, similar to meeting NPCs. They all have unusually high base stats that make them stronger than the rest.

A player would probably have to trade to acquire more than one legendary Pokémon. However, multiple Legendary Pokémon of the same species can be found or mentioned in-game, even if they are not available to the player. Some of these Pokémon have certain personalized items that exclusively boost their powers. The Adamant Orb for Dialga is one such example. This same process can be utilized to obtain Lustrous orb.

But, before we get to how the Adamant Orb is obtained, we must first find out where Dialga resides. This is because, if you do not have Dialga, this item is almost useless and if you haven’t encountered Dialga, it is not possible to obtain.

How to encounter Dialga?

1. Cyrus, Team Galactic’s leader, will capture the Lake Trio — Azelf, Uxie, and Mesprit — and take them back to The Team Galactic Hideout in Veilstone City after the player defeats Candice at the Snowpoint Gym.
2. Make your way to Veilstone City and through Team Galactic’s headquarters. You’ll eventually come across Cyrus and have to fight him. After you defeat him, he will give you the Master Ball, which you can use on Dialga or Palkia.
3. Locate and defeat 1st Commander Saturn in battle. Then, in the top centre of the room, press the yellow button to release the Lake Trio. You will want to get out of here as soon as possible, so dash to the green warp. If you don’t already have 50 or so Ultra Balls on hand, go to the store and get some before proceeding.
4. The leaders of Team Galactic have gathered and are ushering in the return of Dialga or Palkia. Your rival appears, allowing you to fight alongside each other against Team Galactic. After defeating Mars, Dialga or Palkia will appear.
5. You must defeat Cyrus, after which you can finally initiate combat with the legendary Pokémon.  You can choose to use the Master ball to capture it and use multiple ultra balls or save it for other legendries.

How to acquire Adamant Orb?

It is quite simple to acquire the Adamant orb after beating Dialga. After defeating Dialga (Pokémon Brilliant exclusive) in Spear Pillar, you can obtain the Adamant Orb by simply walking straight north and interact with the pokeball at the bottom of the stairs.
