Realm Royale Ranking System Explained

Did you know that Realm Royale was originally named Paladins: Battlegrounds? Yes, it is a spin-off title of the popular Hero FPS game, Paladins. So, it is bound to have multiple similarities with the game. Anyways, Realm Royale is an interesting BR title featuring interesting mechanics but what’s more interesting is its ranking system that many players have no clue about. Unlike most popular BR or any other multiplayer title that ranks players according to their performance in each game, Realm Royale does it slightly differently. If you are curious to know more about the Ranking System featured in Realm Royale, make sure to read this article till the end for all the details. So, without any further ado, let’s jump right into it.

Developed by Heroic Leap Games and published by Hi-rez Studios, Realm Royale was one of the most played games back when it was released. Although the current player base of Realm Royale is still respectable, its prime was witnessed in 2019 when Hi-rez announced that the game has reached 10M players worldwide. Anyways, in Realm Royale, you fight against 89 other players to secure the #1 place by engaging in gunfights. Well, the weapons featured in the game aren’t your typical AR rifles or LMGs, but they are fantasy weapons that have different stats and are quite unique. Realm Royale Ranking System Explained

The Ranking system of Realm Royale consists of 6 tiers- Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, & Master. Apart from the Master rank, all the others feature 5 divisions within themselves for players to climb their way up. Suppose you are placed in Silver V. You will have to climb your way up to Silver 1, and then only you will be able to rank up to Gold V or above. And if you reach 50 wins in total, you will get the Master Rank.

But, that’s not all. Your rank in the game is determined by your top 50 Best Matches regardless of the result. So, in simple terms, your rank will depend on your average K/D. This means that losing a few matches won’t have much impact on your rank if you perform decently. Another feature of Realm Royale’s ranking system is that it doesn’t decay if you don’t play the game for a long time.
