Soul Hackers 2 has been one of the few games loved by gamers who are not really into Anime themed video games. However, the game has some flaws that result in errors, bugs, and glitches. These are being fixed by developers but we all have come to terms with the fact video games will always have issues from time to time. One such issue with Soul Hackers 2 is the getting stuck at loading screen after launch issue, and we will go through the possible fixes for it, in the course of this article. Before we delve into the fixes, let’s talk about the game itself a bit.
Soul Hackers 2 is the sequel to the 1997 Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers video game. The role-playing video game was developed and published by Atlus and fully launched for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S in August 2022. As most fans already know, it is still a part of the Megami Tensei franchise. That being said, the issue of the game getting stuck at the loading screen can be annoying but many players have found some workarounds to fix the issue. Let’s take a look at the available fixes.
Soul Hackers 2 Getting Stuck At Loading Screen After Launch: Is There Any Fix Yet
The problem usually pops up when you launch the game and the loading icon on the lower right of the screen shows the loading sign, only for you to wait for a long time and nothing happens. What do you do? You can try the following:
Step 1) Restart the Game
The first obvious step to take is to close the game and launch it again. This resolves the issue most of the time. Should the issue persist, you can try the next step right away.
Step 2) Reboot the System
Rebooting the entire system usually fixes a lot, and this troubleshooting technique isn’t exclusive to games only. If after rebooting your system, the issue persists, then it’s time to go into more serious steps.
Step 3) Delete Local User Data
It is important to know from the onset this step will most likely wipe your saved game progress. The loading screen issue is most likely caused by the sync of corrupt data files. Here’s how to go about it.
1) First go to your C: Drive or whatever drive your OS is saved and click open the Users folder.
2) Then open the folder with your PC username on it and then select the AppData folder.
3) Now, click open the Roaming App folder and then the SEGA folder. Here is the shortcut path: C:\Users\<Your Username>\AppData\Roaming\SEGA
4) Scroll down and right-click on the Soul Hackers 2 folder and select delete, then launch the game.
Step 4) Reinstall the game
You can consider reinstalling the game on your system but make sure that Cloud Sync is turned off when you launch the game after the reinstallation process.
We hope this fixed the issue. Kindly share this article with friends, and stay in touch with Vabsaga for more updates.
