As the game progresses, the main character teams up with friends to investigate the attacks by demons. After what seemed like a dead cause, the developers decided to release a sequel to this game after about twenty-three years. Soul Hackers 2 was finally released in August 2022 after much anticipation. Fans accepted the game with thumbs up to the developers for the game’s remodeled art style and graphics. However, many are already anticipating the release of Soul Hackers 3.
