As CAPCOM’s newest entry of the Street Fighter series, Street Fighter 6 is on the verge of release, many fans are waiting for information regarding the release date of the next title, i.e. Street Fighter 7. Back when the trailer of Street Fighter 6 was released, the whole community was excited to try this new game out. Well, that was way back in Feb 2022. Now, thanks to the State of Play in June 2022, we got a more refined look at the newest title that will be creating a heavy impact on the gaming industry. Street Fighter 6 is all set to release in the Summer of 2022. This new entry in the series will be far superior in terms of graphics and gameplay mechanics to its predecessors. New characters are also going to be introduced but as of now, only some of them are confirmed. We have got a few leaks about the potential roster of characters that are going to be available in the game, but an official announcement is still pending. Street Fighter 7 Release Date for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One & Nintendo Switch Release Date
Well, as of now, there is little to no information regarding the release date of Street Fighter 7 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series/S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. With the huge leap in graphics quality seen in Street Fighter 6, we can assume that SF 7 will by no chance be available on the Nintendo Switch. Also, SF 6 is currently releasing for PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S but there is no mention of Xbox One. So, this leads us to believe that SF 7 will also not be available for Xbox One.
If we follow the release date pattern followed by Capcom to release new titles in the Street Fighter series, we can predict the release date of SF 7. So, according to the release date of the previous games, all we can say that the wait is going to be very long. Each successor of the SF games were released after at least 8 years. If we take this into account then it is expected that SF 7 will be releasing in 2030, which is ridiculous.
