The Front Game: How to register for Closed Beta

The Front is the debut game from Samar Studio. And calling it ambitious doesn’t do it enough justice. The game is currently listed under Steam’s Early Access program but has yet to be made available to players. The Steam description of the game describes it as – “a survival-open-world-crafting (SOC) shooter game”. Samar Studio is trying to put out a chef d’oeuvre here, and players can’t wait to get their hands on it. However, there is no release date for the game announced yet. Fortunately, a closed beta test is happening soon, so it’s high time you start registering for it.

Beta tests are conducted by developers when a game is mostly feature-complete but has bugs. By starting a beta test, players get to test the game and judge its current state. At the same time, developers are able to find and fix bugs based on the reports of players playing the game’s beta version. In a nutshell, beta tests are a win-win for both the developers and players, generally. Now, if you didn’t already know, there are two kinds of beta tests – Open beta tests and Closed beta tests. Open Beta, as the name itself suggests, is open to players all over the world. On the other hand, the closed beta test is only for a set number of players who can join the game. The studio will choose from a pool of applicants, look them over, or just randomly send out invites. For now, Samar Studio has decided to do a closed beta test for their game. So, how do you register for it? Let’s find out!

The Front Game: How to register for Closed Beta

To register for The Front’s closed beta test, players will need to fill out a survey first. Here’s the link for that survey. Fill out the form and then submit it. Give accurate information on the form if you want to join the closed beta. After that, it’s all a waiting game.

Once selected, you will be contacted either by email or through Discord. The studio has also clarified that players will need to sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) before getting access to the CBT program. It’s also recommended that you make a Discord account and join the official server of the game.

This is all you need to register for the closed beta of Samar Studio’s The Front. Whether you will be selected or not is entirely dependent on the studio and its criteria for selection. In all honesty, it’s entirely 50/50. The studio hasn’t clarified how many slots will be available for the closed beta. However, considering it’s a closed beta test, we don’t think the size would be much.

For now, all you can do is wait after submitting your details. Anyway, we hope now you know everything about registering for the CBT program of The Front. For more such interesting guides, make sure to visit Vabsaga daily.
