The New York Times put the kibosh on another Wordle archive

Wordle Archive, the popular repository of retired Wordle puzzles, is closed at the request of The New York Times.

Wordle Archive, created in January by computer biologist Devang Thakkar, allowed errant players of the daily word game to complete previous puzzles that they had missed or failed. the archive turned out to be very popularwith 100,000 visitors per day within a few weeks of its launch.
