The Surprise Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War update adds a redesigned map, another new lure content

It is a tradition that when a new Call of Duty is published every year, the iteration from the previous year, which served as the flagship of this franchise, ends. He may receive updates that fix issues in the game, but it is not often that he receives new content for players who stick to enjoy it. This is clearly not the case this time, as Treyarch has released a new update for Call of Duty: Black Ops: Cold War, which adds a newly remastered map and a brand new weapon to the game, as he first stated. Eurogamer.

What’s more, the blog post announcing this update seems teasing that more content could be on the way this year, which would be quite a shift for Call of Duty.

“In its first content update in 2022 for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, the Treyarch remaster introduces popular multiplayer maps and a brand new weapon: the Vargo 52 assault rifle,” writes Daniel Noel of Treyarch. blog post.

As you can see, it’s very clear that this update is just the first of the next to come in 2022. As for what can be expected from this now live update, you get the remastered multiplayer map, WMD, that was first seen v Call of Duty: Black Ops. It’s a great multiplayer map with lots of outdoor and indoor positions that you can hold when facing the enemy.

As for weapons, Treyarch issued Vargo 52.

“The Vargo 52 is one average weapon and is especially effective where versatile equipment rules – and in the Zombies it can be one of the most destructive assault rifles in the game with the right set of attachments,” Noel writes. “Here’s her description in the game: A fully automatic assault rifle.” Good damage at medium range with high rate of fire. Improved muzzle velocity and reliable control for stable shooting control.

To unlock it in the game, you will either have to deal 1000 damage in 15 different completed matches with assault rifles, or eliminate 750 enemies with an assault rifle that has been hit three times in Zombies.

This update is now active for the Cold War.

Activision Blizzard would never say that, but this return to the Cold War could be related to Call of Duty: Vanguard, which was released in 2021 and was set to become the franchise’s new flagship title. Between the performance issues associated with the new Warzone and the ongoing allegations within Activision Blizzard, Vanguard has not achieved. So much so that Call of Duty reportedly skips the year 2023. It seems to help mitigate some of Vanguard’s failures, Activision Blizzard returns to a game that is now more favorable: Cold War.
