What are the red eggs in Pokemon Go?
Red Eggs or 12KM eggs are nothing but rare eggs that can be acquired by defeating any of the Team Rocket Leaders including Arlo, Cliff, and Sierra. This egg made its debut back in 2020 and now has appeared again. The Red Eggs are also found in Gyms where an Elite Raid will take place.
Whenever a Red Egg appears on top of a gym, players can battle out the pokemon that comes out of it after 24 hours. However, the hatched pokemon will only be available for 30 minutes. So, make sure to grind the pokemon and include it in your arsenal within the given time period. But, remember that these aren’t your normal 3-star or 5-star raid pokemon. They are extremely tough, so you need to prepare yourself for the fight. As per sources, an Elite Raid will take place at the given time 11 AM, 2 PM, or 5 PM (according to your time zone).
