About the game
Boyfriend Dungeon is a dungeon crawler-dating sim indie game developed and published by Kitfox Games. The game was released in August 2021 for Windows, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch players as of now.
The plot basically revolves around a character living on Verona Beach, a city in a contemporary fantasy world where monsters pose a danger to people. The game’s combat takes place in real-time. The player can use different moves and attack combos which is great to experience.
The game has not been always been a delight for developers to make. Even though it was able to raise $272,000 through Kickstarter which was over their target amount. But the developer’s plans did not come out practically feasible and had to sort of shun out a major part of the content. It would have taken the game till 2025 to be developed if things went the same way. In 2020 it was announced that due to the developer’s mental health the game would come out in 2021.
