Cyberpunk 2077’s Phantom Liberty saw its official launch on September 26, 2023. A long-awaited expansion for fans of the game, the wait was certainly worth it. Phantom Liberty introduces a plethora of new and interesting content to the game while also improving performance. A great DLC through and through. Among many of those new additions is the subject of this guide, the Raiju SMG.
The new DLC introduced a bunch of new weapons to CP 2077, and getting to use these new weapons is certainly one of the best things right now. However, the problem is that you can’t get them outright by purchasing them from a vendor. You will have to explore the in-game world in search of them. Some can be found pretty easily, while others take some time. So how hard is it to get the Raiju SMG? Well, let’s find out!
Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty Raiju SMG: How to get & find
The Raiju SMG can be found in the Increased Criminal Activity point of interest marker in the Barghest base located near Kress Street. Since this is an area teeming with enemies, be prepared to cut down a lot of them. You can fast-travel to the Kress Street waypoint and just head to the hideout nearby.
Start cutting your way through the horde of enemies present and go for the hideout boss, Ross Ulmer. Note that you can skip past all the enemies to get to the boss, but it’s highly recommended that you kill all the enemies first and then head for Ross Ulmer. It will save you a lot of trouble later on.
Once you encounter Ross Ulmer, do everything you can to defeat him. After his defeat, search his body and get the “Cache Access Card”. Now, open your map and follow the triple skulls icon in it. Eventually, you will come across a locked door. Use the card you got from defeating Ross to unlock the door. Now just head inside, and there you will find the Raiju SMG in a briefcase.
Stats
The Raiju SMG is a Tier 5+ /Iconic Tech Submachine Gun. Due to its high tier, it boasts some really great stats. Here’s what those stats look like:
- Attack Speed: 7.69
- Damage: 32.86
- Effective Range: 28
- Reload Speed: 1.10
- Weapon Handling: 8.88
- Crit Damage: +33%
- Charge Time: 0.75 seconds
- Headshot Damage Multiplier: +100%.
As you can see by the stats here, the Raiju SMG is no slouch at destroying enemies. While headshots are one of the hardest shots to hit constantly, you should focus on your aim to headshot your opponents, as it has an increased crit chance. But if you aren’t comfortable with that, you can just keep shooting like normal. And like other weapons, you can sell this one too, which will net you about $12,239 in total. But that’s not really recommended.
